SERVING WGA CLUBS
Located in Fairfield (CT), Bronx, Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Putnam, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester Counties (NY).
The Westchester Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Fund was established in 1956 by William P. (Willie) Turnesa, two time U.S. Amateur Champion, Captain of a Walker Cup team and British Amateur Champion, with his longtime friend, Udo Reinach. The WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund provides need based financial assistance to deserving caddies and others who work in service to golf, enabling the pursuit of higher education. To date, scholarships have been awarded to over 2,000 young men and women. Currently 279 students are attending colleges, universities and trade schools with the support of a caddie scholarship, representing a four-year commitment of more than $3.6 million.
For information on eligibility and scholarships, print out an application form or call 914-347-2340. Applications are also available from the Caddie Master at WGA member clubs.
